Photography competition winners | Maud Village Trust 2027 Calendar

Our photography competition has now closed, the entries have been judged, and we're pleased to announce the winners.

Thank you to everyone who sent in a photo. The entries came from across Maud and the wider Buchan area, and choosing a top three was not an easy job.

The winners

1st place: Abiy Orr, Strichen Park

2nd place: Sara Hill, Aden Park

3rd place: Joyce McConnell, Toadstool White Cow Woods

Congratulations to Abiy, Sara and Joyce. As part of their prize, all three photos will be featured in the 2027 Maud Village Trust Calendar.

**3rd place**

Joyce McConnell, Toadstool White Cow Woods

Also featured in the 2027 calendar

The winning photos will be joined in the calendar by a selection of other entries. These didn't make the final three, but each one stood out for capturing what the competition was about and showing the Buchan area at its best.

Gillian Parker, Winter Sunset at Cruden Bay
Gillian Parker, Sheep Maud
Shannon Wood, Cully Khan
Joyce McConnell, Swans at Stuartfield
Kay Bonner, Adenpond
Victoria Brown, Bumble Bee
Chloe Gibson, Maud
Dot Faglay, Slains Castle
Shannon Wood, Snow Dog

Well done to everyone whose photo was selected.

Thank you, and how to get your copy of the calendar

A big thank you to everyone who took part. Every entry helped show how much the people of this area care about the places around them.

The 2027 Maud Village Trust Calendar will be available to buy at Old Mart Community Resource Centre shortly. We're printing a limited run, so if you'd like a copy, please add your name to the list as soon as possible by contacting us.
