Annual Reports
Our Work, Our Impact, Transparently Reported
We often publish reports detailing our activities, services delivered, and how we've used our resources to support the Central Buchan community.
Hybrid working continues but there has been an increase in presence from a number of the teams in the centre and many are now working designated days in the Centre.
As mentioned in the previous year’s AGM the hybrid model of working continues to be the norm for many of the health care professionals based out of the Centre (some hours in the office and some hours at home).
We started the year in good spirits and with a thriving community hub for it all to be taken away from the 22nd March 2020 with that dreaded announcement “STAY AT HOME” “WORK FROM HOME” and that is very much how we have proceeded for the rest of the year.
The Community Resource Centre. The Centre still remains the hub of the majority of services on offer in our local community and continues to be very busy.
The Community Resource Centre. It is the tenth year since the Centre opened and a celebration will be held of this event during the Conversation Cafe day on the 1st Nov when everyone is welcome. The Centre still remains the hub of the majority of services on offer. It is actively involved some key initiatives for the community offering a range of activities and support.
This is the Fifteenth year of operation for the Maud Village Trust and we continue to provide varying services to the community
This is the fourteenth year of operation for the Maud Village Trust and we continue to provide varying services to the community.
The Maud Village Trust has been operating now for thirteen years and continues to provide different services and facilities to the community.
It has been twelve years since the Maud Village Trust was formed. In that time we have seen it grow to a well established organisation, with our Centres being in continual use throughout the year providing services to the community.
The Maud Village Trust has continued to operate successfully throughout 2013. The Centres have been as busy as ever, serving the communities medical, social and fitness needs.
The Maud Village Trust has been operating now for ten years, in which time the original Mart site has changed completely, bearing no resemblance to the cattle market days. The area is now a filled with building providing many amenities and thriving businesses.
We have almost completed the mart development we started in 2002. Nine years on and we have seen the mart site change from a busy cattle market to equally busy centres that provide Resources, Services and Special Accommodation to the Community.
Once again we have seen a change to the Old Mart site. We started the final phase of “Putting the Heart Back into Maud”. This project involved the developing of the remaining ¾ acre of ground into improved Service Centre access, gardens and play areas.
This year has seen the opening of the new Community Resource Centre. It was open for business on the 27th November 2008 and is now working well with the NHS and Aberdeenshire Council Social Work department services.
This year has seen the most significant changes to the old mart site. The community Service Centre is now complete and we have two tenants, namely Buchan IT and E-Learning Services (Bites) and Buchan Dial-a-Community Bus (BDACB) who have taken up residence.
