Christmas Joy for 194 Children Across Central Buchan

This Christmas, the Maud Village Trust was proud to once again support local families through the Central Buchan Christmas Present Appeal, helping to make the festive season a little brighter for those who needed it most.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and the hard work of our staff and volunteers, we provided Christmas gifts for 194 children and delivered food hampers to over 50 families. Every donation, every hour of volunteering, and every act of kindness made a real difference.

All donations were organised and distributed from the Maud Village Trust Resource Centre, where volunteers worked together to sort gifts, prepare hampers, and ensure everything reached families in time for Christmas. The appeal truly showed the strength of community spirit across Central Buchan.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, or supported the appeal in any way. Your kindness helped bring comfort, joy, and a sense of togetherness to many local families.
